The Attractive by zulu-eos The Attractive by zulu-eos
Wanted to create a striking contrast of detail that blended into the model, with the latest displacement craze.
Thanks to Jonny for the capture [link] . He didn't have the high res available : (

I saw this on Shadowness but couldn't comment on it, for some reason. Other than what Pete said, I have nothing to offer in the area of critique. However, I do like what you did here. Just s'more moderation would've suited it better.

Like Pete said, try being a bit more selective to get a more effective use of the displacement. Other than that, the contrast between the vibrant pinks and blues looks really good.

I feel theres too much displacing on this, and i agree its a craze, but i think its starting to see its age already :p

The colour contrast is nice, but theres an overdose of noise/grungey-ness, like pete said it would be better if it were more selective, and maybe some solid/bold but minimal vector work in there to spice it up abit :)

Its quite nice mate, however I think you could do more selective displacing, maybe create some custom maps and displace parts rather than the whole thing - would provide more focus too, could also try blurring some parts - give it more depth :D

Ah, yeah displaceing parts with maps would be easier. I see where your going, too much contrast may overdue it. Will take those into consideration on the next one. Sorry about that bar, :P
